Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine. As the only academic medical center serving the demographically diverse and culturally rich population of Orange County, we are dedicated to the tripartite mission of UC Irvine: Discover, Teach, Heal.As champions for women's health, our calling is to deliver clinically excellent, patient-centered, holistic and accessible obstetrical and gynecological care to the women of our community, advance the science of women's health in a meaningful and applicable fashion and train the future leaders in women's healthcare.Our department has a proud tradition of clinical excellence. It comprises nationally and internationally recognized leaders in maternal fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, family planning, and general obstetrics and gynecology.We take great pride in our comprehensive medical education program and are committed to training the next generation of leaders in women's health.
