UCSI University Chinese Cultural Society, commonly known as UCSI CCS, is one of the biggest non-profit student organizations run by a group of dedicated Chinese students in UCSI University, Cheras. The mission of UCSI Chinese Cultural Society is to publicize the Chinese traditional culture among the UCSI community including local and international students.Founded in 2014 by 20 Chinese students, CCS aims to enhance the influence of Chinese culture in UCSI community. Since its founding, CCS has grown tremendously into a society with over 1000 members, consisting of graduates, postgraduates and undergraduates. Being one of the largest society in UCSI, the society regularly organizes a number of exciting and meaningful events in order to promote the importance of sustaining traditional cultures to the UCSI community. Besides, the society also bear the responsibility to spread awareness related Chinese cultures to contribute to the uniqueness of Chinese traditions and cultures and pass on the values to the next generation. A wide variety of events such as Mid-Autumn Festival, Mellow Charity Night, Dragon Boat Festival and The Dawning Future Charity Night has been held throughout the years.Furthermore, weekly classes including Chinese Class and Diabolo Class are held regularly to strengthen the bond between members. Chinese Class is specially designed for University Students who keen to learn Chinese writing and speaking with teaching material approved by the UniversityToday, UCSI CCS is widely recognized by the community around UCSI and it has been continued year after year by the committee members elected in the Annual General Meeting.
