Uhuru Vegan Cakery is a team of Ankhcestral led Healers who have translated their healing art into food. As Spirit people we understand that food plays a vital role in the body working optimally, provided you eat the right diet which is essentially plant based. Our product range includes vegan cakes, biscuits, doughnuts and pies. For mama who wants to whip a cake for special lunches; for that romantic dinner gesture; or those aspiring bakers out there, we have expanded our cake range with the Mapopotane, our from-freezer-to-oven mixture. Our treats also cater for those with conditions such as diabetes by using the sugar alternatives black molasses, dates etc. The alkaline vegan diet is also accommodated with options of gluten-free flour and sweeteners.Our cakes are delivered two days after we bake them. We call this ageing as the flavours intensify with each passing day. Conventional dairy based treats last 4 days maximum on the shelf because of the rotting effect of animal by-products. On the other hand, our cakes can last up to 10 days and they are safe for everyone to consume (with our alternatives for special diets considered).
