The Ukrainian Renewable Energy Association (UAWE) is the largest industry association of renewable electricity producers in Ukraine. The association includes only electricity producers (licensees). UAVE is the only association that unites producers from all types of renewable sources: solar, wind, hydro, biogas and biomass.The founders and full members of the association are the companies that were the first in Ukraine to build RES facilities. However, CNBM and DTEK are not part of UAVE. UAVE members have invested about € 3 billion in renewable energy during the industry's existence.The installed capacity of UAVE member facilities is 2.2 GW, or 30% of the renewable energy market in Ukraine. The vast majority of members of the association are Ukrainian investors, the average capacity of stations is 5-10 MW.Head of Association - Oleksandr Kozakevych.
