Angela grew up in an art-infused world, from her own potato-stamp kindergarten masterpieces to the more legitimate masterpieces of her parents' art gallery. There was no doubt she one day hoped to find herself working somewhere within the non-confining walls of the art world. A B.A. left her with the typical graduate's concern: Now what? A year of arts study in England brought her back home to Toronto where she enrolled in computer graphics courses at Ontario College of Art & Design. This initial dose of computer design led her to a 3 year graphic design program at George Brown College. Her many late nights on the computer left her realizing more than just how fast hours pass while drawing with a mouse. She realized graphic design was everywhere, literally everywhere.Angela's intrigue for design grew into a passion that now fills her days at Umlaut Design. Angela's eye and mind are naturally drawn to the subtle qualities of effective design. Rarely does a walk outside not result in a new idea that inspires Angela to shape her own design solution. She weaves this inspiration into her work to create visual solutions with one main objective in mind: to successfully reach the minds of her client's target audience through valuable visual communication.Previous/Current CLIENTS:Providence Care Healthlululemon athleticaQueen's UniversityCitizenship and Immigration CanadaSalomon Sports CanadaEyecarrotEYES ProjectStudio 330 YogaThe Otesha ProjectLuxbaum Windows + DoorsKeegan Resources Inc.Cayden Resources Inc.FocusFitPortfolio can be seen at www.umlautdesign.ca
