UMMA was created after a desire for a safe space for all intersectional Muslims. We recognize the injustice that occurs to marginalized individuals within the community and our city of Milwaukee. Our mission is to organize and unite Milwaukee Muslims and to amplify all voices through the facilitation of education, support, and promotion of justice for all. The goal is to elevate a progression of ideas, learning opportunities, increased awareness, and a haven where everyone is accepted.
