UMN Symphony Orchestra Details
USO (UMN Symphony Orchestra) is an arts and cultural organization that has been established in 2015 and officially became an organization in 2016, consisting of 4 complete instrument categories, including string, woodwind, brass, and percussion. Through the tagline 'Viva La Musica' which means 'turn the music on' we don't just play music, but also evoke and liven up the expression/feeling in each individual so that all the music we produce can be conveyed well to others. There are 2 training sessions that we do, namely training per section (to hone playing techniques) and joint exercises (to perfect the song as well as train the feeling). During the establishment of USO, we have participated in and held various events, comparative studies, and USO has also become one of the founders of the Indonesian Student Orchestra Association (IOMI).
