Leyda has a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and is currently working towards her Master's Degree in Spanish Language. Motivated by creation in the world of crafts, she discovered her artistic skills in drawing symbols intertwined with geometric figures by hand, leading her to her first Mandala just two years ago. While creating her artwork, she enters into an atmosphere of meditation, peace and relaxation by focusing on each stroke she draws, first in pencil and later in ink. Through her intertwined symbols and figures, the artist seeks to convey in black and white, messages related to her appreciation of life, its various manifestations, paths, and the positive energy that she radiates within herself and to everyone around her.Her other passions include photography, music, and genealogical research. In 2019, we could see her in the role of Ms. Santana in the bilingual play "La Fauna del Poder" written by Mar Gámez and produced by Olivia Barrera.
