Held on Derby Eve, this black tie optional charity event is held in the Grand Ballroom at the Galt House. The evening begins with cocktails featuring ten specialty bars serving fine wines, champagnes, bourbons, vodkas provided by Southern Wine and Spirits brand partners. Celebrities and other VIPs from the sports, music, TV, movie, poker, literary and horse racing world are our guests and enjoy a gourmet dinner and a variety of live entertainment provided by celebrity musical guests. The evening also includes impressive Silent and Live Auctions featuring over 100 one-of-a kind items. YMI coordinates all aspects of the event. Unbridled Eve is rapidly becoming the premiere Derby Eve Gala. 1,000 Attendees from all over the world. The primary beneficiary of Unbridled Eve is Blessings in a Backpack and six other charities are selected each year by the Unbridled Eve Executive Committee to benefit from event proceeds. Planning for this event is continuous throughout the year and contains numerous components which include the following: sponsorship identification, procurement and implementation; booking and working closely with venue (The Galt House); marketing of the event including advertising, social media, website and print collateral; sales of tables, tickets and silent and live auction items; identification and booking of entertainers; production and direction of stage presentation and entertainment; celebrity invitations, management and communication; transportation, lodging, security and entertaining when in Louisville, decoration and ambiance; a detailed registration process; operations; volunteer inclusion and training and last but certainly not least, ensuring a fabulous start to our local and national guest's Derby experience!
