A family man with traditional values and an appetite for life, Steve Schirripa, best known for his role as Bobby Baccalieri on the acclaimed HBO series, The Sopranos, created Uncle Steve's Italian Specialties in 2014 as a tribute to his late mother who made a great sauce, the best sauce in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, per Steve's childhood friends. "We start with organically grown whole tomatoes from a small farm in Italy. Fresh organic vegetables are chopped up with a little olive oil, sea salt and pepper and the ingredients are simmered over a low flame for many, many hours to break down the tomatoes.
