Founded in 2007 by physics graduate and acoustic consultant Jeff Latour, Unfused Records' primary mandate is to explore the most recent discoveries in music technology and apply them to the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) style. Psycho-acoustic phenomena are often used in the label's productions, and most of Unfused Records' affiliated artists have knowledge in either science, music technology or advanced composition theory, and proficiently use this in their releases. Unfused Records hopes that the merge of science and music will lead them to push the current frontiers of the EDM style.
