At the same time, they learnt that tech transfer led by university institutions has limited scope, leaving remarkable discoveries with the potential to solve the world's most pressing problems locked behind academic doors. Witnessing how challenging the path from labs to real-life solutions was, the team of four decided to put its unique experience to good use, creating a one-stop-shop for tech innovations and research commercialization.
