Education Management - Imus City, Calabarzon, Philippines
In 1986, the late Bishop Serafin E. Ruperto, former pastor of Anabu Unida Church, started to establish the Anabu Unida Kindergarten School in Anabu, Imus, Cavite, fulfilling the vision that the Lord has given him - that of training and educating the youth the Christian way. He was inspired by what the Holy Scriptures say in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. In 1996, the institution opened its elementary department and changed its name to Pag-ibig Unida School, Inc. The program was further expanded by commencing high school education in 1999 through the leadership of its then Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Atty. Guillermo A. Ramos, Sr. In 2002, the school felt the need for a College institution and decided to expand its boarders by offering college courses through the establishment of the Unida Evangelical Colleges, Inc. (U.E.C). Through the leadership of the present Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Jayson R. Sardido, Pag-ibig Unida School, Inc. and Unida Evangelical Colleges, Inc. were merged in January 2008 to better serve its community thus Unida Christian Colleges, Inc (U.C.C.) was born. The primary purpose of the school is to conduct, operate and maintain an institution of learning, cater to the educational needs of the people, develop and enhance the physical, spiritual, intellectual and economic well-being of the individual, and to establish and maintain an institution in accordance with high educational standards for the development of the art, sciences and technology. Through various educational programs and spiritual ministries, the School has been true to its vision and mission of bringing people to Christ and prayerfully molding them to become great leaders of the nation.
