The Union Street Theatre is a venue for performing arts and special events.This Black Box theatre was developed with a transitional layout to accommodate versatility. The theater will serve Southwest Virginia through a host of activities, from children's workshops to recitals, acoustical or amplified concerts, theatrical performances, special events, public gatherings, film screenings, and film and music recordings. The venue can also be rented for functions such as corporate parties and wedding receptions. With this new venue, the strength and diversity of the arts district downtown will be heightened and sustained.The Union Street Theatre is located at 107 S. Union Street, Danville, Virginia 24541.We are currently consulting with non-profit professionals and a legal team in the application for a 501(c)3 status.
