Primary functions:International talent recruitment and training platform:♦ Leverage high-tech talent resources in the Silicon Valley, establish, maintain, and utilize a high-tech talent database, meeting joint recruitment needs in the fields of information technology, biomedical engineering, new material, new energy, and intelligent industry.♦ Design and implement talent recruitment and selection solutions tailored to the strategic needs of joint innovation projects.♦ Design and implement training and development programs for talent assigned to joint innovation projects, including culture and policy training for expatriates, communication training and team building for joint innovation teams, and leadership development for mid to high level innovation team leaders.♦ Monitor project team performance through the use of online accessible performance management system. China-U.S. high-tech projects import and incubation:♦ Provide marketing, industry, and policy research support for U.S. high-tech firms planning expansion into Chinese markets, especially in the Yangtze River Delta region.♦ Establish pipeline for project funding, investment, office space, logistics, and future product industrialization.♦ Fulfill administrative and auxiliary duties supporting overseas talent exchange and the mobility of joint innovation projects, including but not limited to: conference, forum, and event planning; financial management for joint innovation projects; intellectual property law consultancy; overseas worker immigration consultancy and mobility assistance. Role in the China-U.S. Joint innovation platform:♦ Coordinate and support diverse teams from mainland China, Silicon Valley, Boston, and New York assigned to joint innovation projects.♦ Positioned as the central resource hub on the joint innovation platform, with heavy emphasis on high-tech talent sourcing, selection, and management.
