Since 2014, Unitas Ensemble has been performing concerts of the music of Latin America throughout Greater Boston and beyond. They are the foremost ensemble dedicated to promoting and performing the works of Latin-American composers in formats ranging from chamber performances up to full-scale orchestras and opera.Unitas has had the pleasure of offering a wide array of local, American, North American, and world premieres of Latin-American works by young and established composers. In 2018, they released their debut album "Estaciones", recorded in collaboration with the Latin Grammy-winning Cuarteto Latinoamericano.Unitas has also had the opportunity to perform community concerts and educational residencies throughout Greater Boston. This past season, in partnership with the Boston Philharmonic and the Boston Public Library, they presented a series of free, interactive concerts in various branches of the BPL featuring the works of Latina composers.
