Unitech Electronics was founded in 1979 in Taipei, Taiwan. Its goal was to provide the local market with customized microprocessor-based automation systems. For the past 20 years Unitech focused on manufacturing automatic data collection products that optimize efficiency within enterprise processes. In 1985 Unitech successfully launched its AIDC product lines which have been growing ever since. Today, Unitech manufactures a full range of AIDC products including portable data collection terminals, handheld scanners, magnetic stripe readers, fixed terminals and variety of keyboard products. Unitech Europe is one of the 4 international subsidiaries of Unitech Electronics in Taiwan and the head office for EMEA region. The office in the Netherlands provides fast service and flexible support with a quick turn-around-time to its channel OEM/ODM customers in Europe, The Middle East and Africa.
