United Coders was formed in 1987 and in the beginning the company was simply a gathering of enthusiastic hardcore programmers and artists dedicated to developing games and multimedia applications for the Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64 & 128, and the Amiga series of computers. During 1993-1995, United Coders developed and published a number of software applications for the Amiga, among these the highly acclaimed Amiga First Aid series of self-aid tools. By the end of 1995, United Coders achieved certification as official member of the exclusive Amiga Developers Support Program Europe (A.D.S.P.E)In the first quarter of the new millennium, United Coders changed focus and transformed itself into a highly specialized PR-agency focusing on servicing developers, publishers, and distributors within the games and multimedia industries. United Coders offered services such as media contact, press releases, newsletters, articles, company profiles, advertisements, localization and product evaluation. By the end of 2003, United Coders had an extensive network of PR clients and industry contacts throughout Europe, and United Coders had successfully become the leading specialized games and multimedia industry PR-partner in Northern Europe.In spring of 2004, United Coders relocated from Denmark to San Francisco and returned to its roots as a privately owned, 3rd party contract game development studio creating projects for a diverse variety of selected game developers and publishers worldwide
