Under the guidance of ICV (Intelligent Connected Vehicle) Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance ("the Alliance"), SAE China, China Automotive Industry Association and Jiading District Government co-announced the construction of ICV United Innovation Center ("UIC").UIC is the platform of technology communication and demonstration for the Alliance, and it's also the executor on behalf of National Intelligent and Connected Vehicle (ICV) Pilot Zone (A Nice City). UIC is responsible for the implementation of national projects of great importance and development of standards and specifications. It will also establish a laboratory and data center for ICV and intelligent traffic in Auto Innovation Park.There are 200+ members at UIC, covering national research institutes such as China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC), China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), universities and colleges such as Tsinghua University and Tongji University, OEMs like SAIC, GM, Toyota and Tesla, parts companies including Bosch, Delphi, Continental, IT and communication companies such as Huawei and Datang, operators like China Mobile, China Unicom, Qianxun and smart traffic companies including SEARI.
