From its inception in 1997 when Bruce O'Neil and his close friend, the late Wilt Chamberlin, sat on a tree stump with a vision; to today as an internationally recognized top end basketball training ground, the mission continues to unfold.Our advisory board, past and present, is a who's-who of basketball royalty!; John Wooden, Dale Brown, Pete Newell, Darrell Imhoff, Jerry Lucas, Bruce O'Neil, Terry DischingerOver the years, the USBA has built a reputation as a premier basketball training site serving Oregon, the surrounding states, and countries from around the world. The USBA is known as a year round basketball training facility for players, coaches and teams from many parts of the globe, focusing heavily on China and Southeast Asia. The organization's reputation of excellence is based on years of developing innovative teaching concepts that have become the benchmark for basketball educational programs. Today the USBA is recognized around the world as a premier provider of basketball education and services. By utilizing Bruce O'Neil's existing relationships with the world's top governing basketball bodies, current and former NCAA and NBA players and coaches, the USBA has built a platform to launch into many basketball related areas that could drive significant growth for the company.
