The United States International Center for Electoral Support is a nonprofit organization headquartered in the United States with a global remit. USICES supports sustainable democratic development through the provision of technical assistance to election officials, promote the professionalization of election administration, empowering the underrepresented to participate in democratic processes, and providing operational support to Election Management Bodies and key stakeholders within the electoral assistance framework. We facilitate the building of a community and network of election officials.USICES works with all election stakeholders, including international democracy assistance agencies and institutions, electoral management bodies, civil society organizations involved in electoral processes; parliaments, media, security forces, and courts but most importantly election administrators to meet the challenges of administering elections and other democratic processes.We seek to improve the efficiency of election administration by providing practitioners with the tools needed to upgrade the infrastructure of elections and improve the voting experience for voters and election officials alike. Our vision is straightforward: make voting simple for every voter and build voter and stakeholder trust in elections and its outcome, both of which are vital in promoting human rights, diffusing social tensions, and preventing conflicts.We put election administrators at the forefront of our work by delivering unique professional and specialized programs that meet emerging and changing challenges in election administration.
