History & MissionThe United States - Mexico Cultural and Educational Foundation (USMCEF) was founded on April 4, 1996 in Washington, D.C. as a 501 c.3. non-profit organization. It serves as the educational arm of the U.S. - Mexico Chamber of Commerce. Since its inception, the foundation has been involved in numerous activities such as the Buen Vecino Internship Program, Border Energy Forums, the Fiesta Tecaliso concert, art exhibits, theatre presentations, environmental initiatives, and the development and implementation of government grantsThe mission of the USMCEF is to provide activities that promote an enhanced knowledge and understanding of the educational and cultural differences between the two countries in order to establish closer and stronger ties.
