United Title of Louisiana (UTLA) is one of the largest title agency in the State of Louisiana. It has offices in Shreveport, Bossier City, Alexandria, New Orleans, and Lafayette. It has a dedicated Commercial Division with 2 attorneys and 6 staff members who provide commercial escrow and title services for the entire state of Louisiana. The Commercial Division works with all law firms and outside title companies throughout the United States. We handle transaction in all 64 parishes. In addition to underwriting for all the major title insurance companies, we provide Owner and Lien, UCC, and Chain of Title searches, Abstracts Letters, draft documents for free or for a nominal charge, provide courtesy recordings, "notary only", "witness only" and "accommodation" closings anywhere in the state and other title products for non-policy transactions.
