MISSION: TO IMPROVE LIVES BY UNITING THE CARING POWER OF OUR COMMUNITIES.Founded in 1946 as "Community Chest," then became "United Fund," and in 2002, "United Way."The United Way of Grundy County helps to improve lives through opportunities for giving, advocating, and volunteering. We rally support for local not-for-profit agencies that make an impact for local residents, thereby building a stronger community for all. Funds are allocated to agencies which meet the greatest needs of our residents.
