The United Way of PEI works with Islanders for Islanders. Through partnerships with local community charitable organizations, our goal is to create a province in which everyone can enjoy a dignified and healthy lifestyle.The United Way of PEI:- Provides non-partisan leadership in social change- Endorses innovation, partnerships and collective action- Respects community wisdom and encourages resident involvement- Encourages and promotes volunteerism and volunteer leadership- Demonstrates trust, integrity, transparency, inclusivity and respect- Embraces diversityOver the years, we've become more than a fundraising organization. Rather than measuring our success in dollars raised, we measure our success in actual lives changed. Every year, the United Way of PEI impacts the lives of Islanders from tip to tip. We can do this because we have spent more than 50 years developing deep roots and trust in the communities we serve on PEI. That strong foundation provides us with the resources, reputation and relationships needed to bring people and organizations together around innovative solutions.
