Universal Health Aid (UHA) is a non-profit, social enterprise designed to provide students with action based curricula that simultaneously improves health and lifestyle in our community. Currently, UHA operates in Ypsilanti, MI; Ann Arbor, MI; Monroe, MI; Detroit, MI; and Toledo, OH with plans to expand to Columbus, Boston, and the Bay Area next year. Among UHA's programs is the preventive medicine program, which has provided over 1100 patients to date with access to over 20 preventive medical services, including cardiology, gynecology, dental, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, and internal medicine. UHA's model is unique in that it incorporates an action-based curricula that has provided over 300 high school and university students with the opportunity to explore their passion while developing innovative solutions to real-world problems.
