Universal Technology Access is a company with a passion to empower the blind and visually impaired with technology via training leading to a more enriched life. Accessibility to information is also empowerment for any person; Universal Technology Access is proactively working with businesses providing affordable solutions to help make their web sites more accessible and ADA Compliant. Universal Technology Access, LLC, is based in Dover, New Hampshire. Karl Belanger, the president and primary trainer at Universal Technology Access is blind and has fifteen years of experience using adaptive technology. Karl has graduated from Gordon College in 2010 with a Business Administration degree and minor in computer science. His degree combined with work experience as a quality assurance software technician brings a strong foundation to his company. He also serves as a Trustee on the National Braille Press, in Boston, MA making him a strong advocate for Braille literacy. After having looked at the options for technology training that currently exist for blind and visually impaired people, Universal Technology Access identified a need for a quality affordable independent alternative. Technology training can be tailored to the person's needs and is provided either on site or via remote access.
