Education• by offering diverse educational programs, the faculty trains graduates for the highest level organizational and administrative tasks of the agricultural sector• with its scientific activity, FAFEM contributes to the sustainable utilization of regional values and resources• since the introduction of the Bologna system, there are 5 levels of education offered: post-secondary vocational training, Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. degree courses, and specialized postgraduate courses• the Faculty trains experts at the BSc, MSc and PhD levels in numerous fields of agricultural sciences such as: classical fields (animal husbandry, crop production, horticulture), environmental management, food processing, game management, nature conservation and crop protection• in 2008, the quality management and environmental management systems of the Faculty were certified according to the MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001 and MSZ EN ISO 14001:2005 standards, respectively, which is considered quite unique in the country.Research• the research activities of the Faculty are organized around the 3 accredited doctoral schools• the classic agricultural research fields continue to play a role, but areas such as environmental management, nature conservation, food quality assurance, biotechnology, as well as technological and interdisciplinary areas have recently come to the fore as well• with its successful domestic and international research projects, the Faculty contributes to rural and environmental development, as well as the development of multifunctional agriculture in the Trans-Tisza region
