The University of Dubuque's main campus is in Iowa, established in 1852. The site in Tempe is its first site out-of-state location, opening classes to the Valley in Sept 2017. This unique college program for adult students is referred to as a LIFE program that focuses on supporting non-traditional students, providing degrees in business administration, accounting, human resources, marketing, criminal justice, healthcare administration, and the MBA. These broad-based degrees are regionally accredited through the Higher Learning Commission and provide a flexible and affordable means to start or complete previous studies. All programs are intentionally competitive in tuition cost allowing students to save approximately 45-50% for their education.Student can apply for Financial Aid/Pell Grants, use tuition reimbursement, military benefits, awarded grants and scholarships. Each class is 5 weeks in length 1 night a week. Students may attend hybrid classes where some may physically attend, while others can synchronously remote into the same class from home (due to COVID-19 concerns).
