It publishes academic books and offers a printing service to cater to the government and private institutions. These objectives are reflected in its Vision Statement: The University of Malaya Press – A World-Class Publisher, and its Mission Statement: (1) To extend the reach and influence of the University of Malaya by publishing books that reflect the University's status and interests.
