Meet the University of Portland Cash Flow Club!We are a club on campus that works to promote financial literacy amongst our students, so they may be financially empowered beyond graduation. It is our mission to provide the financial education, resources, and tools for our students to feel the financial security and knowledge that others may lack exposure to.Our members can expect to learn investing, budgeting, and saving skills that will prepare them for future financial security and valuable lifelong practices. The UP Cash Flow Club hosts one club meeting per month that covers a variety of topics related to financial literacy, as well as a 3-week campus-wide investing competition dubbed "The Challenge." This investing competition runs until our favorite month of the year, financial literacy month in April, when we host our annual Smart Money Weekend. Each year, the UP Cash Flow Club hosts Smart Money Weekend to deliver a series of workshops geared toward educating our community on topics ranging from student loans, to investing, to real estate, to budgeting, and so much more. This all-day series culminates with our celebratory dinner featuring our keynote speaker and awards ceremony for The Challenge winners!Whether you are a student looking to gain the financial literacy and skills needed to prepare for a successful future, or a professional in the financial, investing, or entrepreneurial fields, we would love to hear from you!
