The Center for Health + Technology (CHeT) is a research organization within the University of Rochester Medical Center that designs and conducts multi-center clinical research studies and uses technology to make unprecedented advances. Over the past generation, CHeT has re-shaped the conduct of clinical research and advanced knowledge to improve health for thousands, if not millions, of individuals. CHeT is leading the field in evaluating how to harness the tools and technologies of the early 21st century to extend the reach and impact of research and clinical care. CHeT is made up of 5 units including: - Clinical Trials Coordination Center: conducts worldwide, high quality, regulatory compliant multi-center clinical research studies with over 30 years of experience.- Clinical Materials Services Unit: offers comprehensive clinical trial supply services including package and label design and production, assembly of patient kits, national and international distribution, secure storage with robust environmental controls, and tracking and destruction of returned products.- CHeT Innovation: develops and validates technologies - including smartphone applications and wearable sensors - that can sensitively, frequently, and objectively assess disease in real-world settings. - CHeT Analytics: employs AI-based models to predict disease progression patterns for individual patients. - CHeT Outcomes: develops disease-specific patient reported outcome measures for neurological and non-neurological diseases.
