The UP Behavioral Science Society (BehSoc) is the official academic organization of Behavioral Sciences majors. It aims to provide a venue for students to apply their learning in real world settings. Its motto, "Serving Roots, Reaching Out" captures the fervor and tenacity of the organization in providing service firmly anchored in the disciplines of Anthropology, Sociology, and Psychology. At the same time, it brings these fields together in the study of Behavioral Sciences.On the mental level, BEHSOC can be easily linked to the established abbreviation of Behavioral Science which is BEHSCI. On the cultural level, BEHSOC is associated with the modern slang term "beh" which is friendlier, more caring, and more personal. The logo is anchored on the human-centered aspect of the organization as it strives to reflect BEHSOC as a community of people serving those in need.Our vision is "Serving Roots, Reaching Out."Our mission is "To promote camaraderie and goodwill amongst members, and further their holistic development through service-oriented advocacies and projects using the knowledge and skills learned in the Behavioral Sciences."
