So why does UTCCF exist? Founded by first generation Hong Kong immigrants, UTCCF began in 1963, where fellow brothers and sisters in Christ delved into the word of God together and interceded for one another in prayer in support for each other. In the 1980s and '90s, UTCCF evolved from a Cantonese speaking fellowship to a trilingual one, accommodating English and Mandarin speaking students. In the late 1990s, Trinity Cantonese Christian Fellowship was born to accomodate Cantonese speaking students. In 2004, Mandarin Chinese Christian Fellowship was started as well to better serve the Mandarin-speaking students on campus. Currently, CCF is mainly an English speaking community, predominantly comsisting of second generation Chinese Canadians and international students from Hong Kong and other parts of Asia. There are many other parts of CCF, but most importantly, it is the people in CCF who truly make this fellowship special. CCF is increasingly becoming one that is breaking down ethnic and cultural barriers. Fostered spiritually through Ambassadors for Christ, UTCCF, along with other CCFs around Canada are ever dynamic and vibrant communities seeking to find what it means to live in a campus environment. http://utccf.com/index.php?title=About_UTCCF
