The University of Victoria Surf Club is an independent, student-run organization that provides fellow students with the opportunity to actively experience all that is offered in beautiful Tofino, B.C. The UVic Surf Club works alongside UVic's Athletics department to bring students to Canada's premier surf destination on a monthly basis. Collectively, the UVic Surf Club makes great efforts to have an active role in the complete student experience – this is accomplished by fostering socialization and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle for its club members.
