Unpolitically Correct is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that is dedicated to educating the public about political issues that face our nation by providing a forum for people to express opinions and solutions.We need to depoliticize our representation system in politics. As it stands, politicians mostly care about being reelected, not the will of the people or nation they serve. They spend too much time quoting rhetoric from the far right or the far left and not enough time focusing on the bills themselves. They dig in their heels, draw party lines, and don't get anything done.When you get right down to it, we would rather have an Unpolitically Correct representative who gets the job done than a highly political one, whether we agree with them or not. After all, our forefathers weren't very concerned about being politically correct. They had a job to do and believed in majority rules and speaking freely. They were not so sensitive that they couldn't be Unpolitically Correct.That idea is the core of this site. It's a place where we talk about solutions, focus on issues, and discuss ideas independent of political parties. You might not agree with these ideas. Others might not agree with yours. And that's the point. We work through the ideas we disagree with to compromise and come up with solutions.Unpolitically Correct is about avoiding rhetoric, parties, and politics to arrive at workable conclusions. It's about doing the right thing for as many people as possible regardless of their political party.
