Art in storage isn't enjoyed and has less impact on the world. Imagine a great piece of art that speaks to the current human condition locked away in a storage facility. It brings to mind the final scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Arc is stored among millions of items in a nondescript government warehouse, unlikely to be seen again. Art needs to be visible to be both enjoyed and impactful.
