We provide in-home pediatric therapy and services to children across the greater Atlanta area. At UP Pediatric Therapy, we integrate several models of therapy during each treatment session to meet the child's goals. We focus on fine and gross motor skills, core strengthening, visual motor skills, self-care skills, feeding therapy, sensory processing, and handwriting. We have experience treating a variety of diagnoses and delays, including but limited to: amputations, ataxia, autism, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, chromosomal disorders, developmental delay, Down syndrome, dysgraphia, hemiplegia, generalized low tone, seizure disorders, sensory processing disorders, and Spina Bifida.We also specialize in easing the transition home after a traumatic injury (i.e. amputation, brain injury, spinal cord injury). We assist with home modifications and adaptations to increase the functional independence for the child and lessen the burden for caregivers.Each child receives an individualized home program, enabling the family to integrate therapeutic interventions throughout the week and upon discharge.
