Uppd is a mobile app that lets you use your phone to virtually compete in real-world competitions.To illustrate, imagine a talent show where everyone can submit an entry from anywhere in the world. Do you have a talent or trick (however ridiculous)? Film yourself doing it (or have a friend), upload it, and seek votes. You can challenge friends to one-up you, or let others in the community join in. Whoever gets the most votes in that challenge wins the virtual gold, and sometimes rewards from sponsoring companies.Now here's the best part: just like in the real-world, you only get one shot to compete–so you better be prepared to complete the challenge. Once you start filming, your attempt will automatically upload and enter into the challenge. It doesn't matter if you completely fall flat on your face.
