Urban Ambush is a Montreal-based company specializing in skateboards, apparel, and wheels. Headquartered in the heart of downtown Montreal, we started making skateboards because we wanted to ride quality decks with fresh designs. The result is Urban Ambush, a grassroots company that refuses to play by the rules. For the past five years we have been translating our passion for skateboarding, art, and life into our products. Our skateboards are made from 100% Canadian Maple and are manufactured start to finish right here in Quebec. We pride ourselves in being a small business that supports other small local businesses- skate shops and manufacturers alike. Our crew of riders is mix of OGs and up-and-comers. They are: Montreal's Big O pioneers Barry Walsh, and the Caretaker Marc Tison, San Fran export Justin Gastelum aka THE ICEMAN, Peace Park warrior Dave Boots, high flyin' Joe Buffalo representing the Wild West, and young shredder Mikey Plantus hailing from Windsor, Ontario. Urban Ambush is extremely proud to feature work by some of the most creative visual artists in the biz. They include Chris Dyer of Positive Creations, Brian Armstrong aka 2Youth, comic genius Tim Barnard, Dan Buller aka DSTRBO, SAKE the infamous all-city bomber, graphic design czar KSilk, and bobo master QUIZ71.
