Urban Greenery's mission provides education and financial opportunities to students in disadvantaged communities, bringing them to forefront of a transforming food system in America. Providing students with opportunities to participate in innovative and technological changes within our food system in a meaningful way, we are helping change our communities, and the planet, for the better. Our approach: create a game-changing program with backing from industry-leading companies to help build a brighter future for students within a sustainable food system. Urban Greenery gives student a firsthand view of sustainable initiatives within our evolving food system. By participating, not only do students get knowledge and access to some of the top growth sectors within our economy, but they also get funds to put towards education and help pay for the bright future ahead. Education costs continue to increase and with it, attaining higher education moves further out of reach. We have created an innovative way to bridge the gap by building a program that rewards learning and helps pay for bettering one's self. Urban Greenery is a first of its kind public benefit organization, but certainly will not be the last. We are a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit and hope you will partner with us to help build a brighter future for students everywhere.
