The Urban-Think Tank is a multi-disciplinary design practice dedicated to high-level research and design on a variety of subjects, concerned with contemporary architecture, urbanism. The philosophy of the UTT is to deliver innovative yet practical solutions through the combined skills of architects, civil engineers, environmental planners, landscape architects, and communication specialists. Founded as a NGO, U-TT has developed a commercial branch and academic ventures with Columbia University in the City of New York GSAPP, where U-TT founded the SLUM_Lab (Sustainable Living Urban Model Laboratorium) Brillembourg and Klumpner are directing that LAb and hold a chair as Adjunct Professor at the Graduate School of Architecture PLanning and Preservation since 2007.
