With influence from the Client's Japanese and Chinese heritage, the brief has given us an immediate idea of a modern abode, filled with natural light, simplicity in almost every aspect of the building's layout, material, functionality, spatial context as well as its façade typology. We therefore proposed a luxury home designed with the concept of nature blending in the typology of juxtaposing spatial context and its onsite fabric, offering a mnemonical spatial experience of light, shadow, materiality & natural ventilation.
