Creating a strategy in the Tangram to shape up a perfect silhouette, closing an imaginary structure kept in the darkest corner of our psyche, testing and testing the infinite forms that can be given to a simple square, this is how Nicolas Bertolo and Anita Nava builds theirs designs. Implanting an utopia in his mind that materializes in each collection, thus coming up with garments that bring out a balance of contrasts. On one hand, generating a pure and minimalistic geometry and on the other, manipulating and fragmenting till deconstructing such geometry breaking up the linear design. These Concepts, coupled with creating a comprehensive work in manufacturing each garment, selecting noble materials, designing and dressmaking Urenko raises, following the current zeitgeist and constituting a post-apocalyptical vision that seeks to adopt a new dressing behavior, with nonchalant elegance, focused on beauty in a coarse, cold, austere manner.
