Ursus Heritage Consulting Ltd. is an innovative B.C. company based out of Vernon in the Okanagan with satellite offices in Parksville, Nelson and Vancouver. We specialize in a range of heritage and archaeological services. We conduct archaeological and anthropological fieldwork, ethnobotany, palaeoethnobotanical analysis, faunal analysis, traditional use and knowledge studies, community-based heritage and curriculum studies, and RISC training. We are committed to maintaining excellent relationships with our clients and to working in and towards sustainable human and environmental communities. Ursus provides heritage and archaeological consulting services throughout Western Canada and the Canadian Arctic to a variety of sectors including First Nations and Inuit communities, the forestry industry, micro-hydro and power, BC Hydro, Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure, Columbia Power Corporation, the oil and gas industry, land developers and various educational institutions.
