Uruguay Poker Tour was created on 2012 for two young guys, and concibed with the idea of increase the quantity of poker players in each one of the stops. In it's first season, the Uruguay Poker Tour attracted more than 1.000 players, gathering more than $ 350.000 in prizes, with buy-ins never higher than $ 200. The UPT generated an unprecedent acceptance into the Uruguayan poker community, with an attendance of 98,5% of the maximum capacity established by each casino where the UPT took place.
