FoundationThe idea of establishing a Basketball Club came from Jang Heinricy (vice-president of the FLBB) back in 1959. When talking with Emile Schwirtz (former Basketball player and newly appointed teacher in Heffingen), he soon realized that he had found the perfect person to help him get things started as Emile didn't hesitate to help him setting up a provisional Committee. The first Committee was composed by these following gentlemen:Mathias Colbach, Emile Schwirtz, Pierre Seyler, Nic Agnes, François Giver, Hary Neuman, Aloyse Schuler and Pierre Winckel. On May 13th 1959, the officially foundation meeting took place, in "Café Neumann-Flies". The Club's name and colours were decided as "UNION SPORTIVE HIEFENECH" and red and yellow. The Club's first Men's Team was: E. Schwirtz, J-P. Flies, D. Dimmer, Fr. Dimmer, Ch. Biltgen, G. Kieffer, H. Cloos and N. Theis.BBC USH was caring about youth from the very begining as kids in primary school, besides having their normal classes, would have Basketball on their schedules every day. As a result of that, it didn't took long for the Cadets team to bring a Championship Title and a LASEP Championship to Heffingen.Golden YearsUS Heffingen had a brilliant time in the 1989-2000 period, having its Men's Senior Team winning the Championship and the Cup both for 4 times.Another big highlight from that time was when the Men's Team faced FC Barcelona on the European Cup in the Fall of 1990.Between 2008 and 2016, our Women's Team won the Cup of FLBB for 3 times while our Youth has been developing some good work over the past years with our teams fighting for Championships and disputing several Cup Finals, bringing a few titles to Heffingen.RevivalThe Club's ambition is no other than getting back on track to the success that we once had in the past. The Committee, as well as the Coaches, do everything they can to arrange the best conditions possible to their players. Our Youth is considered as extremely important as they are
