Established in 1977 as the American Bicycle Association, USA BMX was formed after the consolidation of the ABA and NBL racing sanctions. With over 70,000 members racing at 320+ local tracks throughout North America, USA BMX is the world's largest BMX racing organization in the world. Sanctioning over 12,000 races each year, USA BMX also hosts over 30 National Series Events to promote the Olympic Sport of BMX racing nationwide.
