SAMAGRA is a USAID-funded, PSI-led flagship initiative on urban health in India. It strives to create an urban health ecosystem that is responsive, affordable, and equitable, and which provides quality preventive, promotive, and curative primary health care for the urban poor, with a focus on women, girls, and other vulnerable populations. In partnership with the USAID, the Government of India (GoI), and local public and private sector stakeholders, SAMAGRA aims to improve access to affordable quality health services in the urban areas specifically for the urban poor, enable good governance for urban health and address the barriers related to the social determinants of health.
