USSA-Global Details
USSA is a not-for-profit, member-owned and operated Shippers Association formed in 1985 under the Shipping Act of 1984. We aggregate global container volumes of Members to leverage Ocean Carriers for rates and service. In addition to negotiating market-leading freight rates, we manage rates and contracts on a Web-accessed, real-time platform. We keep Members up-to-date on industry news and developments, and advocate for Members on critical industry issues. We are highly sensitive to anti-competitive regulations, and hold an Export Trade Certificate for U.S. exports, as well as legal letters of review covering Europe, Asia, and South America.
